Storyline

Follows the journey of Si Kabayan who wants to marry Nyi Iteung, but is prevented from getting his blessing from Abah (Iteung's father), who does not want a village youth as his son-in-law. To prove himself and try his luck, Kabayan goes to the city accompanied by his best friend, Joni Kemot, in the hope of getting a job and earning money to propose to Iteung. After struggling in the city, Kabayan finally succeeds in getting Abah's blessing thanks to his hard work and the help he received.
